Harley Richardson

Harley brings over 25 years of experience in creating award-winning education services, blending creative, product and technical expertise. His work has contributed to the success of major projects such as Espresso Primary, Channel 4 Learning Clipbank and Discovery Education's innovative service for Egypt. Most recently, Harley played a key role in the growth of OxEd & Assessment, a University of Oxford spinout. There, he helped transform the organisation from a startup into a thriving international edtech company whose early language assessment tools and interventions are now used in schools and nurseries across the UK, US, Australia, the Netherlands and Paraguay. Outside of work, Harley writes and speaks on the history of education. He is the author of The Liberating Power of Education (Letters on Liberty, 2021) and contributed to New Studies in the History of Education (Routledge, 2023), a primer for undergraduate students.
